Ezzard Charles Shannon

Mr. Ezzard Charles Shannon, 65, of Blytheville, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Region One Medical Center, in Memphis. Born June 26, 1951, in Blytheville, to the late Shelby Shannon and the late Lorene Hudson, he was a landscaper and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one sister, Glory Jean Cunningham, and three brothers, Delvaun Shannon, Ronnie Shannon, and Sandy Shannon.

Mr. Shannon leaves seven sisters, Maxine (Sam) Henry of Waxahachie, Texas, Shelby Mae Richardson, Laverne Shannon, Malissa (Frank) Wright, Dr. Arretta Shannon, and Joyce Shannon all of Kansas City, Mo. and Harriett Weeden of Mobile, Ala.;

Three brothers, Harold (Donna) Weeden of Kennett, Wy`mon Hudson of Kansas City, Mo., and Sidney Weaver of Indianapolis, Ind..

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday September 24, 2016 at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville with Pastor Henry Mays officiating. Burial will follow at the Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 from noon until 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville.
