J.L. Smith

Mr. J.L. Smith, 68, of Trumann, passed away on August 21,2016 in Jonesboro, he was born on June 20, 1948 in Florence, AL. to the late Homer L. and Nellie Scott Smith, he was a farm worker of the Pentecostal Faith.

In addition to the death of his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Manes, two sisters Nancy Smith and Ivydean Russell, and a brother, Charles Smith.

Mr. Smith leaves behind,

Two sons, Bobby and Daina Smith and Troy and Ty Smith both of Trumann,

Three step-sons, Dewayne Milton and Terry Milton of Trumann, Harvey Milton of Lake City,

Two sisters, Mary Burchfield and Josie Hatley of Trumann,

Four brothers, Jimmy Smith of Trumann, Edward Smith of Fort Lauderdale, FL., and Jerry and Billy Smith of Marked Tree.

13 grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 24 at 11 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza with Bro. Jake Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Marked Tree Cemetery in Marked Tree. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 23 from 6-8 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza.
