Mr. Joe Lee Wallace Pearson, Sr., 67, of Lepanto, passed away August 17, 2016 at his residence. He was born on November 13, 1948 in Harrisburg to the late Andrew Lee Pearson and Ardelia Williams Pearson, he was a retired truck driver and a member of First Baptist church in Lepanto.

In addition to the death of his parents, he was also proceeded in death by two sister, Nona Mae Lloyd and Ethel Merriweather, a son, Gerald Pearson, and brother, Willie A. Pearson.

Mr. Pearson leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Vonda Pearson of Lepanto,

Three daughters, JoAnn Tillman of Montgomery, AL., Judy and Kareem Ali of Olive Branch, Ms. and April and Bobby Lewallen Pearson of Monticello, Ar.,

Two sons, Christiopher Robinson of Ypsilati, Mi. and Joe Lee Wallace Pearson, Jr. of Lepanto, Ar.,

Special Niece, Bernice Baker of Collierville, TN.

and 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Lepanto with Pastor Larrie C. Bell, Sr. officiating the services. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery in Lepanto. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 1-2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Lepanto.

Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola are in charge of handling the service.
