Jean Savage Wagner, 92, of Tyronza passed away on Tuesday, August 15th, 2016 in Jonesboro. She was born on February 12th, 1924 in Baldwin, MS to James Clarence Savage and Mildred Gertrude Savage. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ of Marked Tree.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Clarence Savage and Mildred Gertrude Savage;

Her husband, Roy Edward Wagner;

Three sisters, Pauline Shepard, Lorriane Jones, and Janie Sue Savage;

Four brothers, Paul Edward Savage, Herman Savage, Thurman Savage, and Billy Joe Savage.

She is survived by her two daughters, Virginia (Charles E.) Williams of Marked Tree and Shirley Hardesty of Marked Tree;

One son, Robert (Kathryn) Wagner of Irmo, SC;

Three sisters, Vernell Adams of Sikeston, MO, Edna Mae Staten and Elouise DuVall of Truman;

Four grandchildren, Rachel Wagner of Irmo, SC, Brad Williams of Little Rock, Teresa Corneil and Carter Corneil both of Athens, AL.

And eight great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 at noon and will last until 2 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. The funeral will be the same day at the Wilson Funeral Home in Tyronza. She is to be buried at the Tyronza Cemetery in Tyronza. Randy Mead will serve as the officiating minister. Wilson Funeral Home Tyronza is in charge of funeral services.
