Mrs. Novella Young Johnson, 56, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 in Forth Worth. Born July 26, 1959 in Lepanto, to the late Sam Young and the late Josie Avant Young, she was a retired manager of medical records at the Tarrant County Medical Examiner Office and was of the Jehovah Witness faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Karl Young, her sister Elsie Johnson and two brothers, Alford Young and Richard Young.

Mrs. Johnson leaves her husband, Kennith Johnson of Fort Worth, Texas;

Three daughters, Beverly Young, Karen (Sam) Sandlin and Sharon Johnson, all of Fort Worth, Texas;

Three sons, Sheldon Young of Fort Worth, Texas, Kendell (Tesha) Young of Mansfield, Texas and Kenneth (Chamaka) Young of Shreveport, La.;

Seven sisters, Mildred Johnson of Lepanto, Virgie Howard of Marked Tree, Martha (James) Young of Lepanto, Linda Young of Fort Worth, Texas, Vonda (Joe) Pearson of Lepanto, Birdie Devers of Chicago, Ill. and Debra (Wallace) McGaughy of Jonesboro;

Four brothers, James (Kim) Young of Berea, Ky., Melvin Young of Fort Worth, Texas, Sam (Alma) Young, Jr. of Lepanto and Eugene Young of Lepanto;

One special cousin, Charlene Tate of Fort Worth, Texas; and

Twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on November 28, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola with Bro. Tom Molinax officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Cemetery in Lepanto. The family will receive visitors from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on November 27, 2015 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
