Michael Lee Vail, 60, of Osceola, passed away September 15, 2015 in Memphis, Tenn.

Born November 7, 1954 in Osceola to Norman Vail and Lillie Mae Wallace, he was a landscaper, a veteran of the U.S. Army and of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by brothers Marion Field Jr., Willie Lee Vail and Marvin Vail.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Josiephine Vail;

Three daughters, Erika Vail Thomas, of Marion, Taneca and Daneca Vail, of Osceola;

Two sons, Michael Vail, of Homestead, Fla., and James Wilson Jr., of Key Largo, Fla.,

Five sisters, Norma Jean Vail Page, of Santee, S.C., Carolyn Vail Thompson, of Osceola, Jhonnie Vail, of Blytheville, Kimberly Ann Vail McGee, of St. Louis, Mo., and Quetta Vail, of Illinois;

Three brothers, Norman Vail, Lance Vail and Robert Jefferson all of St. Louis, Mo.;

He also leaves 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Bethlehem M.B. Church with Rev. Moses Black officiating. Burial will follow at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola.
