William McCarty

William "Bo" McCary of Cardwell, age 58, Missouri died Saturday, July 25th at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Paragould, on November 8th, 1956 to the late William Russell and Virginia Lee McCarty, he had lived most of his life in the Cardwell and Arbyrd areas. Bo served 20 years in the U.S. Army National Guard and was employed for several years by Harrison Farms and later Ward Farms.

He is survived by;

One son, Devery McCarty of California

Two daughters, Melissa Parpart of Kansas, and Cynthia McCarty of Oklahoma;

Four brothers, Billy Joe McCarty of Cardwell, Ricky Allen McCarty of Oklahoma, David Lee McCarty of California, and Jack Pernell McCarty of Oklahoma;

Four sisters, Linda Williams of Cardwell, Roberta Jackson of Pocahontas, Rebecca Djurdjecic of Oklahoma, Sandra McLaughlin of California;

And he leaves behind two of his grandchildren.

All funeral arragements will be conducted by the Howard Funeral Service Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2 pm on Wednesday on July 29th at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Mr. Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Cardwell Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
