Recent reports from the Blytheville Police Department:

Sept. 29

Officers responded to a fire at 1300 S. Division. Preliminary investigation by the Blytheville Fire Department said the fire appeared to be intentional.

Officers were dispatched to Chickasawba Street in reference to residential burglary. Stolen was a safe valued at $200 and $12,000 in cash.

Officers made contact with a victim in reference to burglary. Stolen were several household appliances valued at $1,700.

Sept. 27

Reginal Bonds, 47, of Blytheville, was taken into custody and charged with a failure to appear warrant and fleeing on foot.

Officers received a report regarding breaking and entering. Stolen from the location at North 18th Street was $3,000 worth of copper lines.
